Earwax Records and Tapes opened in 1993 to provide __Atlanta__ music lovers a local option to large, impersonal retail music stores. At the time larger music retail chains carried limited vinyl selections of R&B and and no Hip Hop, rap or multicultural vinyl music. Since our humble beginnings on Peachtree Street, we have grown in worldwide popularity catering to DJ's and that deserving and ever growing vinyl audience. Earwax has become known for having hard to find vinyl and CD titles with a inventory of hundreds of thousands of vinyl titles. Two years ago, Earwax moved to a new and larger location still downtown Atlanta. You will find our staff knowlegeable and helpful.
At Earwax we carry a broad selection of Vinyl, CDs, DVDs and magazines and can special order most items not currently in our stock. Special order items may take a week to arrive, so we ask that you place your orders accordingly. If you don't see your selection on our website, feel free to send us an email with your list. Coming soon order your music directly from our website with worldwide distribution
